Founding Board
Debbie Watson
President
Debbie has spent her life helping others professionally as a registered nurse and privately through her philanthropic efforts. Debbie's selflessness and concern for others started at an early age and has developed into the primary focus and purpose for this next chapter of life. Realizing how her actions can affect others was the catalyst for Angelic Kindness and her experience in business, nursing, mental health, and charitable partnerships provides the foundation for this new charitable organization.

Mary Spiros
Mary has dedicated the better part of her adult life in service to others through her career in the non-profit sector and her volunteerism with several community service organizations. Despite being on the receiving end of hate at times in her life, Mary believes that a world where people choose kindness first is possible and is dedicated to making that happen through AK.

Board Members
Sharon Hoffman
Secretary
Sharon has been an avid supporter of many charities and was extremely excited to join Angelic Kindness. Sharon says, “It is a real hands-on experience and you immediately feel the joy and gratitude of helping someone in need.” Retirement has given her the time to work with local government for the betterment of the community as well as travel with her husband of 21 years, Gary. Sharon encourages everyone to get involved with Angelic Kindness because the whole family can get involved. “I’ve made new friends and enjoyed new experiences, it’s a great feeling.”

Jose Quintero
Fundraising Officer
Jose is very thankful for what God has provided for him and his family over the years. He and his beautiful wife Paola have 2 boys: Frank (17) and Kenneth (16).
Jose is always looking to give back to his community by volunteering, serving, & donating to local non-profits. He serves as a Trustee for the Village of Bolingbrook, is the President of Bolingbrook Rotary, is a board member for the Bolingbrook Chamber of Commerce, and is involved in several other organizations.
Jose has been a huge supporter of Angelic Kindness since its inception, and with the passing of his good friend Gary Hoffman, immediately accepted the opportunity to step up and serve on the board of Angelic Kindness "because of all the wonderful things they do in the community."
"You can never know the ripple effect you create with one tiny gesture of kindness."

James Horton
James lives a philanthropic life, having been taught the importance of helping others early on. He received early support from Debbie, and she has become part of his chosen family. She has helped teach James the importance of helping others out and using your skill set for the better good. Having seen firsthand the importance of mental health, James believes we are all born with something special that is meant to make someone smile. A joke, a cup of coffee or just kind words. He is looking towards all of the kindness that will be shared through AK.

In Memoriam
Gary Hoffman
It was with great sadness that we said goodbye to our dear friend and Chief Fundraising Officer, Gary Hoffman, on April 7, 2023.
Gary brought his love of helping others to Angelic Kindness in our infancy. Despite already being extremely active in the community, serving many charities and community agencies, he committed, without hesitation, to serving our mission.
Angelic Kindness has made a powerful impact on our communities, due in large part to Gary’s drive and dedication to spreading kindness wherever he could.
In Gary’s own words, "I have learned to appreciate what we have, and it motivates my wife and I to help people that are less fortunate."
"Individuals move boulders, organizations move mountains."
Gary’s legacy will live at Angelic Kindness as we continue to move mountains. -- KB
